- Olle defends his doctoral thesis 241011. External opponent is Jack Umenberger from Oxford University, GBSeminars by the opponent and grading committee members will be announced.
- 241024 Seminar by Kin Cheong Sou, former postdoc at the department, now assistant professor at National Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan.
- On October 28th, 13h45-15h15, the department will be subject to an external evaluation of our research program. An evaluation committee will meet with a group from the department.
- A PhD day will be arranged in November (most likely the 11th) by Yde and Anton Å.
- Research Focus Day is set to November 29th in Pepparholm, Studiecentrum LTH.

- During November we have the pleasure of welcoming Malena Caparroz, PhD student from University of Almeria in Spain, supervised by Kristian. Malena will be sharing offices with Martin GN (office 2151).
- Save-the-date (February 7,8 or 9, 2025) for theater in sign language with an avatar who signs in realtime. Truly amazing!
