Hej prefekter (kanske ibland före detta prefekter) vid Lunds universitet!

Jag vill göra er uppmärksamma på att vi erbjuder WESP igen denna höst. Kursen riktar sig till alla som behöver publicera forskning på engelska och känner att de skulle vilja bli lite vassare. Sprid gärna informationen nedan vidare och uppmana gärna dina medarbetare att gå kursen om du bedömer att det skulle vara bra för dem.

Så här skriver Claes Lindskog, läraren på kursen:

Written English for Scholarly Publication Your research deserves to be communicated clearly, efficiently, and correctly. Otherwise, it’s unlikely to be published, and if published, unlikely to be read, and if read, unlikely to be fully understood.

To help you develop your academic English, the English Unit at the Centre for Language and Literature can again offer the popular course in “Written English for Scholarly Publication” (WESP).

The course consists of eight seminars in November and December and is open for all academic staff members (e.g. doctoral students, researchers, post-docs, lecturers, and professors) in any area of study who want to improve their English and get feedback on their writing.

During the autumn of 2024, the course will be given twice, according to the following preliminary schedule:

* WESP1 (Zoom) Fridays 10-12: 18 Oct, 25 Oct, 8 Nov, 15 Nov, 29 Nov, 6 Dec, 13 Dec, 10 Jan * WESP2 (Campus) Tuesdays 13-15: 5 Nov, 12 Nov, 19 Nov, 26 Nov, 3 Dec, 10 Dec, 17 Dec, 14 Jan

Engelska sektionen vid Språk- och Litteraturcentrum erbjuder återigen den populära kursen ”Written English for Scholarly Publication” för all akademisk personal. ”Written English for Scholarly Publication” - WESP vänder sig till all akademisk personal (till exempel doktorander, forskare, post-docs, lektorer och professorer) inom samtliga discipliner.

Under hösten 2024, kommer kursen att ges i två omgångar enligt följande schema:
